Inductive Sensors: Inductive sensors detects objects without contact and wear. For this, they use a high frequency electromagnetic AC field that interacts with target. Photoelectric Sensors : Photoelectronic sensors and systems can detect many different types of objects independently from materials, quality and continuity by using visible or infrared light. Whether it is standard or programmable multi-function versions, or compact devices or external amplifiers, etc., each sensor has a suitable feature for different applications; we provide the most diverse photoelectronic solutions in the world.
Capacitive Sensors: Capacitive sensors work without contact, reaction and wear. They are very precise and are designed to detect non-conductive objects as much as conductive objects. At the same time, they also catch the filling levels of liquids and unpackaged goods. In addition to the position measurement, the sensors are used to protect pumps from dry operation and leakage or overflowing control.
Magnetic Field Sensors : Magnetic field sensors are used for detecting the position of the piston in pneumatic cylinders in particular. Our magnetic field sensors provide permanent magnets of different strengths depending on pistons of all general error-free cylinders as their patented principal of operation. The sensors work wear-free, do not short-circuit, are robust and are rated IP67. We also provide solutions for use in dangerous fields and welding as well as analog inquiries.
Ultrasonic Sensors : They can detect many objects without contact or wear thanks to ultrasonic sensors and ultrasonic waves. Whether the object is opaque or transparent, metal or non-metal, solid, liquid or powder is not important. Ultrasonic sensors are available in many different designs, coverage area, range, conical arcs and output types. Many of them contain a connection cable for temperature balancing, noise suppression and automatic synchronization.
Linear Position (Linear Ruler) : Road measurement can be resolved via different sensors. Inductive linear position sensors work contactless and without wear with a ground breaking measurement principle: Position is determined with an RLC circuit instead of a positioning magnet. Product portfolio includes encoders and additional sensors with ropes in order to monitor magnetic linear position sensors or floats for position monitoring via hydraulic cylinders. Distance measurement for up to 40 meters is transmitted to a higher level controller via digital and analog interfaces in a highly precise and dynamic way.
Encoder : Monitors the rotational speed reliably or detects direction and rotation angle; encoders (and also rotating encoders) may be used for various industrial measurement tasks. As well as providing the users devices with pitted shafts and backing shafts, the comprehensive product range also provide models with contactless and wear-free detection. Inclinometer : Robust incline sensors of our Q20L60 and Q42 series detects almost all inclinations and can be used on systems that are subjected to accelerated movements and impacts. We provide angular distance sensors at ±10°, ±45°, ±60° and ±85 like 0…360° free selectable measurement range. The following output variables are available: 4…20 mA, 0.1…4.9 V, 0…10 V, PNP/NPN window, IO-Link, CANopen as NK or NA contact.
Pressure Sensors: Pressure is one of the most commonly measured values in the industry The pressure that needs to be monitored and measured can be found everywhere: in presses, cooling circuits or storage tanks. The comprehensive Turck product portfolio of pressure sensors offers solutions for industrial applications and mobile equipment. Many different process connections, output signals and widely varying pressure ranges mean an ideal sensor can be found for any application. Pressure sensors within the PS510 and PS310 product series has IO-Link functions and thus, is ideal for meeting the requirements of Industry 4.0.
Temperature Sensors: Our product portfolio guarantees maximum flexibility for temperature measurement. TS series temperature sensors offer tailor made solutions with basic programming, flexible process connections and displays. TTM/TTMS series include integrated probe or M12 socket for separate sockets with a series of compact sensors optionally. T-Gage infrared sensors measure temperatures from 0°C up to 300 °C without contact. TP series include temperature probes of different lengths and diameters.
Flow Sensors:
Flow monitoring : Flow sensors are used to detect critical flow rate deviations of gasses and liquids in a fast and reliable way. They are not used for precise and costly measurements, but for monitoring limit values and flow patterns instead. Cooling circuits protect the pumps from dry operation and monitors exhaust channels and ventilation systems. Fluid temperature is monitored thanks to the calorimetric mode.
Flow rate measurement: The flow rate measurement requires a degree of precision in addition to repeatability. Flow rate measuring devices measure the flow in terms of fluid volume/unit-time continuously and precisely, and it is suitable for applications where qualitatively consistent process results and consistent fluid feeding are essential. We recommend flow measurement devices that operate with calorimetric, magnetic inductive and Vortex principle for various implementations.
Level Sensors
The users can benefit from level detection and the related advantages of different measurement principles for continuous level measurement. This depends on factors such as using granulated or fluid materials where the surface creates foam. In similarly confined spaces, blast-resistant space and deep containers, special assembling solutions are required.

RFID
With the compact and modular RFID system Turck provides, you will be able to use proven HF technology and comprehensive UHF technology in a single defining solution. Turck provides data transporters, reading/writing heads, connection solutions and related interfaces that can be connected with RFID system in a flexible way depending on the system requirements.
The application-optimized reading/writing heads with industrial-standard design provide optimum integration for your application. Depending on the environmental conditions, reading-writing ranges of 1 m (HF) or up to several meters (UHF) are available. Radio interface for reading/writing heads and data transporters have been made standard internationally.
Turck RFID connects the interfaces and write-read heads to OPC UA, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, TCP/IP, PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet, CANopen and EtherCAT networks. TBEN modules with RFID protocols and the modular BL67 system (IP67) are ideal for direct usage in harsh conditions. Thus, the users will not need to install protective boxes on the field. The customers use Turck’s BL20 modular system for mounting on the DIN rail in the switching cabinet. RFID executes programmable variables, pre-process steps and control processes directly on the module.
Provides mobile devices that operate in HF or UHF frequency bands for reading and writing independently of location for the data carriers. The data is displayed on the touchscreen of TA mobile device and can be edited or written with appropriate tags using the application software. Can be supplied with mobile devices depending on the need, barcode readers on request, WLAN, Bluetooth and specialized application software.
FIELDBUS
Fieldbus product portfolio includes I/O modules and I/O systems for Ex or non-Ex field applications. Modules and systems are presented with IP67 protection class for area installation and IP20 protection class for cabin assembly.
Modular fieldbus and remote I/O systems of TURCK provides comprehensive solutions for factory and process automation with interfaces for PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet, CANopen, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP and PROFINET fieldbus protocols. excom is a remote I/O system with IP20 protection classification for Ex and non-Ex area. You can plan and implement solutions developed specially for universal BL20 bus switchboard system I/O IP20 area. Modular IP67 fieldbus systems BL67 and piconet® can be installed directly to the site.
It offers PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet, CANopen, INTERBUS, AS-interface, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP and compact fieldbus I/O for PROFINET I/O for factory automation. IP67 modules are designed for harsh environment conditions and the product is made of plastic chassis reinforced with fiberglass, has metal sockets, is fully on-board and resistant against vibrations and impacts. IP20 modules for DIN rails are not just for control cabinets alone, they can also be used for integrating small distributed control boxes with I/O signals to fieldbus network.
Process automation that is conducted with foundation fieldbus and PROFIBUS-PA offers a wide range of solutions for their tasks: The portfolio consists of power sources, conditioners, multiple barriers and connection boxes in IP20 and IP67 protection class.
